Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind is a program that teaches and encourages divergent thinking and team problem-solving. Teams of 5-7 students meet after school or in the evening to work on creative solutions to problems, both short-term and long ones for competition -- but this cannot happen without parent support. Teams are now being formed at the schools -- come to one of the information nights and learn more about it:

September 20: Village School, 7:00pm

September 28: Austin Creek School, 7:00pm

October 6: Madrone School, 7:00pm

If you are interested in developing creativity in your child, consider volunteering for Odyssey of the Mind!
No experience is necessary and training and help for new coaches is available.
All you need for you and your child to benefit from OotM is a willingness to help
and the ability to meet once a week -- either after school or in the evening.
