REDWOOD
CONSORTIUM FOR STUDENT SERVICES |

We would like to welcome you to the
Redwood Consortium for Student Services informational web site.
The Redwood Consortium for Student
Services (RCSS) provides special education services for children with
mild to severe needs. We provide special education services for those
students who live in the Bellevue Union, Bennett Valley Union, Kenwood,
Mark West Union, Piner-Olivet Union, Rincon Valley Union, Roseland,
and Wright School districts. Classrooms are located in the Santa Rosa
community at local elementary school sites. If in doubt about a child’s
school district you are encouraged to call the Consortium about any
child with a Santa Rosa address and we will direct you/parents to
the appropriate educational agency, in order to expedite your questions
and/or concerns about services for your special needs child.
The Redwood Consortium operates three
programs for Special Education. The first program is our speech-language
only services, the Non-Intensive Preschool Program. We also operate
the Preschool Special Education Program, which is for children ages
three to five with identified special needs. Our third program is
our Special Education Kindergarten to sixth grade self-contained classes.
All of our classes serve students with mild to severe special needs.
