Rincon Valley 7/8 Charter Expansion Delayed At the March 2, 2010 Board of Trustees meeting, the Superintendent recommended that the expansion of the 7th/8th grade Rincon Valley Charter School to the Matanzas campus be delayed. The delay was decided upon due to a number of factors.
Both the Superintendent and Principals
of both schools continue to be open to input from parents and the community
on issues regarding the expansion of the 7th/8th grade Charter. If you
have comments or suggestions, please email Diane

During the 2008-2009 group of 6th grade studentsat Matanzas held a book drive and collected enough books to fill a few libraries in Kenya. We asked the PTA to donate some school t-shirts as well. Regina, our contact from the Kenyan-libraries organization, took the books and shirts over. Check out the wonderful pictures on the Kenyan Library Website BLOG page. Congratulations, students!
