ScienceThe interactive
and engaging FOSS, Full Option Science System, program developed by
the Lawrence Hall of Science, provides students with hands-on lessons
in all grades K-6. Through the support of a Hewlett Packard science
grant, the district has selected non-fiction and resource books to support
the modules taught at all grade levels. Lessons such as solids and liquids,
balance and motion, earth materials, magnetism and electricity are taught
through this exciting program which covers life science, physical science,
earth science and scientific reasoning.
