The vision of the Francis A. Binkley Elementary School is to provide a safe, fun, enriched environment that promotes highly educated, well-rounded students who are excited about making learning a lifelong process. Binkley School promotes a learning partnership between home, school, and community to ensure a child's personal and academic excellence.

The "open classroom" structure at Binkley offers unique and exciting student learning opportunities. There is an exceptional sense of community and common purpose between the staff and students. Students gather daily in the common area to share announcements, issues, and student highlights. The staff collaboratively works as grade level and school teams to set high achievement expectations via a comprehensive, sequential core curriculum program for each student. A child's academic and social progress is closely monitored by the staff from kindergarten through sixth grade. Strong intervention programs are in place which help children deal with academic or social issues.
