The District operates an extended day care program for students in
grades K-6 at each school site in the morning and at six school sites
in the afternoon. Extended Day Care is offered before school beginning
at 7AM and after school until 6 PM on regular school days, August
(first day of school) through June (last day of school). The fee schedule
for the 2007-2008 school year is as follows:

Please note that the day care program is not a drop in service; your
child must be signed up with the program to use the services. Your
weekly payment is based on your enrollment agreement. Enrollments

Enrollment forms for the 2008-2009 school year will be available
in April. Please look for them at your school site, district office
or download them from this website.
The day care program is designed to provide a safe and supervised
environment for children. A variety of age-appropriate activities
are planned which may include: table games, expressive play, arts
and crafts, outdoor play, computer and homework time, story time,
and a daily snack.

After
School Enrichment Program
The Rincon Valley Union School District is pleased
to offer the After School Enrichment Class Program. The Enrichment
Class Program is designed to provide RVUSD students after
school learning opportunities through fee-based classes.

Our Spring 2008 program brochures will
be available March 10th in schools and at the district office.
Please register for classes before March 22 to be included
in the lottery. Classes will begin the first week of April.
Three
sessions of after school classes will be offered during the
2007-2008 school year. Class registration will be held on
a lottery basis. Registrations will be accepted during the
open period. Late registrations will only be accepted if the
class does not fill during the open registration period. The

Opportunities
A variety
of recreational and enrichment classes are offered at selected
schools each class session. Classes are usually held one
day per week for one-hour. Classes offered during the year
may include foreign languages, dance, drama, music, art,
and sports.

Class
fees vary by class. However, fees will generally range from
$50 for a four-week class to $100 for a ten-week class.
A scholarship rate is available for students who are eligible
for free and reduced meals.

School Sports Program
Our volleyball All Star Game is on Friday, March
7, at 7 pm at Slater Middle School.
Come out to support your school, cheer for your team and see
some great game play. This event is very exciting for the children
who participated all season and they would love to see you there!

Summer
Break Day Care Camp
Summer Day Care Camp Enrollment forms will
be available the first week of April at all school sites and
the district office. They must be turned in with the registration
fee at the district office only! The program is filled on
a first-come, first-served basis.
