The Rincon Valley Union School District Transportation Department’s mission is to provide students with courteous, professional and dependable transportation to and from school in a consistently fair and friendly environment that focuses on student safety.
The Transportation Department operates eight home to school routes at no cost for riders. Students must have a bus pass to ride the bus home to school. Students are required to show the bus pass to the driver upon loading. School bus applications are included in the first day family information packet. The office manager at each site also has applications available.
Regular home to school bus route schedules are sent to school offices prior to the beginning of the school year. Although bus routes and stops change infrequently, occasionally notices are sent to school or given directly to students. Any questions regarding any revised bus schedules should be directed to the Supervisor of RVUSD bus transportation. All students have a designated school bus stop. If there is not a stop located in close proximity to a student's home, one may be establisehd by calling the RVUSD Transportation Department.
