Harmony Harvell was born and raised in Sonoma County and brings with her over 16 years of experience as an educator, coach, and leader in our community. As a teacher, her primary focus has been in the upper grades. She began her career teaching in 4-6 grade classrooms, and in 2014 she joined RVUSD as a 7/8 teacher at RVCS Matanzas.
Harmony has served as both Teacher-in-Charge and Vice Principal at RVCS-Matanzas and has been working in tandem with both Hannah Bates and Kate Westrich over the last two years to support students and staff with administrative services and daily operations at the shared Matanzas campus. Harmony brings with her an understanding and compassion for the Matanzas community and is looking forward to working with staff, students, and families during this time of transition and change.
Harmony, and her husband, Erik are also parents of an incoming RVUSD kindergartener this fall; along with their two-year old daughter. As a family, they enjoy hiking, days at the beach, and musical jam sessions.
