Dear RVUSD Families, As we begin to plan for the beginning of next week, we are expecting some or all of our schools might be closed on Monday due to the planned PG&E Public Safety Power Shutdown event this weekend. Van Driver Job Opening Under direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, operates a district vehicle to transport general and special education students to and from school. Position is at least four (4) hours per day. Ability to follow safe driving practices; ability to follow oral and written direction; drive a vehicle safely and efficiently; basic preventive maintenance requirements of automotive equipment, First Aid and CPR; maintain route time schedules; ability to use two-way radio and communicate by telephone. Experience as a driver transporting groups of people is desirable. Must have a valid and appropriate California driver license and basic first aid and CPR certificates.
