Dear RVUSD Families,
Extended Care at Rincon Valley Union School District has updated their registration procedures to be more beneficial and less stressful for all parties involved: parents, students and staff. While we hope this process will make registration easier, we want to recognize that this doesn’t solve the need for increased capacity. Extended Care will continue to work hard to make room for more students.
Here’s what we want you to know:
Extended Care at RVUSD will no longer be doing ‘first come, first served’ registration. Instead, students who are already enrolled in Extended Care will be given first priority and all other applications will be considered equally and available spots will be assigned at random. Please read below for additional details.
We will have two registration periods, priority registration and general registration. Priority registration will occur during the week of March 30th - April 3rd, 2020 and general registration will occur during the week of April 6th - April 10th, 2020.
Registration packets are accepted by the Extended Care Coordinator at your School’s site. There will be Extended Care at Matanzas in the 2020 - 2021 school year.
