Everything you need to know about Spring Creek Grab and Go Cheetah Luau is May 28th!

Are you ready for our Grab’n’Go Luau on May 28th? We will be collecting Library books and Chromebooks, as well as handing out classroom bags and you have the option to purchase a yearbook for $20!  Please join us in dressing up or decorating your car as if you were going to a Hawaiian Luau Party to support our Spirit Week theme! Don’t forget to wear your masks!

The District has set out specific times for each Grade level:

TK and Kindergarten: 8:00 to 9:30 am

First  Grade: 10:00 to 11:30am

Second Grade: 12:30 to 2:00pm

Third Grade: 2:00 to 3:30 pm

The plan for the Grab’n’Go is that you will drive through our campus, starting at the Parking lot and ending at the back gate pulling out onto Mayette Avenue. (Please see attached Maps for more information below)  We are asking everyone to follow our maps and staff members to help make this as easy, quick, and safe as possible for families and staff alike.

Please remember that you should NOT be getting out of your car or parking and walking into school for any reason.  We must be safe and conscious of social distancing.

We ask that you have your windows rolled down so everyone can wave to your little Cheetah and we can receive items and hand out items. We will have two lines through the parking lot.  Please be patient and listen to the staff member who will direct you when to merge and move forward.

To help things go smoothly, we are asking all parents to write your child's name and room # on a piece of paper and tape/stick it to the bottom right hand corner of the passenger front windshield window.  (see attached picture below) This will help our Teachers be able to find your child's bag quickly and keep the line moving quickly and orderly.

Please bring:

A pen for filling out the intent to return form

A sign with your child's name and room #

Library Books

All Chromebooks and Chargers

Please make sure these are charged up and turned on!)

Here is a rundown of what to expect at each station:

Station 1: At the Staff parking lot gate.

*Here you will be greeted by a staff member who will direct you when you can start your path through the school black top.

Station 2: Drop Off

* Here you will be able to drop off any Library books you may have at home.  We will also have a flier to pass to you concerning your intent to return for the 2020-2021 school year, as well as a flier about Kindergarten Registration (It’s not too late!)  You will be told to stop and when you may move onto the next station.

Station 3: Classroom Bags

*Our Teachers will be at this station to hand students their bag full of completed

classwork, art projects, bits and pieces they may have left at school and anything that you may have purchased such as Spirit wear, class pictures or pre-ordered yearbooks. You will be told to stop and when you may move onto the next station. Please look for the sign of your child's classroom Teacher and stop at that table.

Station 4:  Ms. Sarah with Yearbooks

*At this station you may purchase a yearbook for $20 (Cash or Check only) and return your Intent to Return form.  At this point, a Staff member will direct you to either exit to the back gate, or to the last station if you have a Chromebook to drop off.

Station 5: Chromebook drop off

*If you borrowed a chromebook from the district, now is the time to return it! Please have the chromebook charged and turned on.  The District Office has asked that we confirm that the chromebook is in working order, so please be patient as we check each chromebook and charger!  After you are done at this station, a staff member will direct you to merge into the exit line and turn right onto Mayette Avenue.

Congratulations, you’re done!

*See maps below!
