The enrollment window for 2026-2027 is now closed. The lottery will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 3 pm via Zoom Conference. Click below to join the Zoom. All entrants into the lottery will receive notification of their status on Friday, December 12th.

SLMS enters all applications submitted during the open enrollment period into a random lottery drawing. The lottery is held in stages, with each category below being filled prior to moving to the next category.

1)    Currently enrolled RVUSD students who have a sibling who is currently or formerly enrolled at RVCS/SLMS.

2)    Children of RVUSD employees currently enrolled in RVUSD.

3)    Students currently enrolled in RVUSD.

4)    Students residing within the District boundaries and not enrolled in RVUSD.

5)    Students who do not reside in nor attend a school in RVUSD, but who have a sibling who is currently or formerly enrolled at RVCS/SLMS.

6)    Children of RVUSD employees who do not reside in nor attend school in RVUSD.

7)    All other applicants.

Once a lottery category is filled, the next category will be filled, and so on. Remaining students after all spaces are filled are placed on a waiting list in a random order by drawing. Verification will be required that applicants will accept their space by January 30th; at that time, available spaces will be filled via the wait list.

This year, Family Information Night will be on November 5, 2025 from 6-7:30 pm. Parents and prospective students can visit campus, enjoy a presentation about what makes SLMS special, and meet teachers and current students. We also have alumni on campus to answer questions about the transition to high school and beyond! No RSVP required.

Want your child to shadow at our campus for a day? Please sign up for a shadow day below. Your child will come to campus and be buddied up with another student. They will attend classes together and experience all activities during the school day. Shadow days start in October and are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
