RVUSD families: due to the myriad of concerns today related to fires and power outages, we have decided to postpone the RVCS Family Information Night that was scheduled for this evening, 10/24. We will keep you posted on a new date.

Van Driver Job Opening Under direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, operates a district vehicle to transport general and special education students to and from school. Position is at least four (4) hours per day. Ability to follow safe driving practices; ability to follow oral and written direction; drive a vehicle safely and efficiently; basic preventive maintenance requirements of automotive equipment, First Aid and CPR; maintain route time schedules; ability to use two-way radio and communicate by telephone. Experience as a driver transporting groups of people is desirable. Must have a valid and appropriate California driver license and basic first aid and CPR certificates. We are hoping that schools will be open on Friday, October 25th and will keep you updated as soon as we have information confirming that the school sites have powered restored.

Dear Rincon Valley Families, Village, Spring Creek, Matanzas and RVCS-Matanzas will be open for school tomorrow, Friday, October 11th. We have heard that there is a chance that PG&E's powering up process will allow us to open the rest of our schools tomorrow, Friday, October 11th. Our plan is to alert families as soon as possible regarding the status of Austin Creek, Sequoia, RVCS- Sequoia, Whited, Binkley and Madrone.
