Binkley Bobcats were lucky to have a couple furry friends on campus today, welcoming us back to school. Thank you Leni and Toby from PALS (Paws as Loving Support) and Throne, Guide Dog Puppy in Training, for providing love and cuddles. 💛💙😺

Dear RVUSD Families, We are excited to welcome our students back to school starting on Monday, November 4, 2019. We have truly missed them and hope to get back to a normal routine as soon as possible. All school sites have been thoroughly cleaned. In addition, all HVAC filters have been inspected and replaced as needed. All campuses were inspected by an outside agency and it was determined that it is safe for students and staff to return. Throughout the week, principals will monitor air quality and determine indoor/outdoor play. Principal newsletters will have more details regarding the week. Please let your teacher or principal know if your child has any particular emotional or health needs this week so that we can provide resources. Dear RVUSD Families, As we begin to plan for the beginning of next week, we are expecting some or all of our schools might be closed on Monday due to the planned PG&E Public Safety Power Shutdown event this weekend. RVUSD families: due to the myriad of concerns today related to fires and power outages, we have decided to postpone the RVCS Family Information Night that was scheduled for this evening, 10/24. We will keep you posted on a new date.

Van Driver Job Opening Under direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, operates a district vehicle to transport general and special education students to and from school. Position is at least four (4) hours per day. Ability to follow safe driving practices; ability to follow oral and written direction; drive a vehicle safely and efficiently; basic preventive maintenance requirements of automotive equipment, First Aid and CPR; maintain route time schedules; ability to use two-way radio and communicate by telephone. Experience as a driver transporting groups of people is desirable. Must have a valid and appropriate California driver license and basic first aid and CPR certificates.
