School opens back up tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7th. Teachers will be doing a morning Zoom meeting with their classes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week to check in, connect, and begin to get back to some routine. Your student's time on Zoom will vary; check your teacher's schedule. Friday will be our usual Wednesday enrichment schedule.

Austin Creek families please pick up your meals at any of the above locations…Austin Creek will be reopened for meal service on 10/7/20. Due to closures some menu items may change…our staff is happy to help you. Dear RVUSD Families, Meal service will resume 10/2/20 at Village Elementary. Please visit us at our drive up location at 900 Yulupa Ave during the hours of 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday October 2nd to receive a hot meal or cold items for the weekend. For lunch on Friday we will be serving you a choice of turkey hot dog, cheeseburger and fries or a protein pack for the vegetarian option. Multiple weekend meals will also be available if requested. We are serving student (0-18 aged children) meals to all families in our community regardless of your home school location or district of enrollment. _______________________________________________________________________ Estimadas familias de RVUSD, El servicio de comidas se reanudará el 2 de octubre del 20 en Village Escula. September 29, 2020 Here are a few more RVUSD updates as we move through this week: School (Distance Learning) will be canceled for the remainder of this week. We will use this time to assess the health and safety of our staff and families. With so many families evacuated and trauma levels so high within our community, we must give time to repopulate and recover. This is a timeline that none of us can control. We will have an additional update to you by the end of this week, once we know more about the situation. This update will include a timeline/process for resuming Distance Learning. We will also have a cleaning timeline for our campuses so teachers and staff can return to campuses to work on site. If conditions allow, we will begin serving free meals to families starting on Friday, October 2nd. We will be serving meals from Village Elementary. Look for more information coming to you soon. Over the last couple of weeks we have sent home PSPS packets and/or learning plans. If you would like to jump into those packets/learning plans, please feel free to do so. However, there is no obligation or expectation at this point in time that this work be completed. Dear RUVSD Staff and Families, There will be no Distance Learning (Zoom, school work, etc.) for tomorrow, September 29, 2020 due to the continued evacuations and uncertainty of the current threat of fires in our community. All Rincon Valley schools will remain closed until further notice. From the reports we have received, all of our school sites are still standing- thank you to our first responders! Additionally, thank you to our district transportation and maintenance team for safely relocating our district vehicles to an off site location in Petaluma. The Board Study Session on Distance Learning planned for Tuesday, September 29th will be rescheduled. We are extending out virtual hugs to all of our families especially those who might have lost their homes or have had to evacuate. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to support you. We will be in touch in regards to the conditions necessary in order to return to Distance Learning.

Dear Madrone Families, Fires are once again creating threatening conditions throughout our community. There is no work assigned today. No need to open the emergency packets that were sent home. Today is a day to focus on the safety and well being of you, your children and your loved ones. Please stay safe and hug your children on behalf of your Madrone family.
