YEARBOOK PHOTOS NEEDED - We have one month before the yearbook club meets. Coordinators are working hard to categorize all the photos coming in. But guess what? We don’t have enough, which means the students won’t have much work to do. Please send in your photos ASAP!!! First day of school, Walkathon, Dine & Donates, Movie Night, Potluck and Game Night, Sports, Madrone Players, Fun on the Metro and Blacktop, etc.
BACK IN SHAPE - Say goodbye to the plywood cover and hello to the new clear top. Many thanks to the dads that helped change out the front panel of the Poppy Mural. Student lunch time is now that much better.
MADRONE PLAYERS - Today was the first build day for the “Seussical” set. Many thanks to all who contributed supplies and food, as well as to those who lent a hand constructing, painting, and making props and costumes. Mark your calendars for the following performance dates: Thursday February 6 - 8th!
RVUSD school starts again on Monday. Happy New Year! School is out one hour early on Monday, following the Wednesday early out schedule. Please arrange to have your child picked up at the correct time. Thank you!
Happy New Year! We are excited to see all our students back on Monday, January 6th! As a reminder, Monday will be an early dismissal day at 1:37pm. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up on time. I am looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Transitional Kindergarten (KinderBridge) Information Night - January 9th 6pm at the District Office - 1000 Yulupa Ave.
Children turning 5 September 2 - December 2 are eligible for KinderBridge.
(Late Start KinderBridge: Based on enrollment numbers the district will work on a case-by-case basis to extend the ending date for TK enrollment to students who will be turning five between December 3 and February 29, provided there is space in our district's TK classes.)
