Elementary Families: First Day Packet and Transportation Request - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear Rincon Valley Union School District Elementary Families,

I hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful summer! We are excited to begin the new school year in the Rincon Valley Union School District and look forward to an engaging and successful year together.

This communication is for families of students attending our elementary schools (TK–6). Families with students attending Spring Lake Middle School (7th-8th)  will receive back to school information during the first week of August from Principal Bates.

To help us prepare for the first day of school, we ask that all elementary families complete their child's First Day Packet no later than Thursday, August 13, 2026. If you have multiple children, you must submit a separate packet for each child.  

Elementary class assignments will be sent out  by email on Friday, August 14, 2026 for families who have completed everything by Thursday August 13th.   The First Day Packet provides us with important information to help ensure your child has a safe, successful, and smooth start to the school year.

This includes:

  • Emergency contact details

  • Medical and allergy information

  • Parent/guardian contact preferences

  • Permissions for media, field trips, and technology use

In person Spanish translation assistance is available from 8:00a.m to 2:00p.m. each day.


Need Transportation? - PLEASE COMPLETE BY JULY 31, 2026!

If your elementary student will need school bus transportation before and/or after school, please click here to submit a transportation request. Submitting your request as early as possible will help us plan routes and ensure transportation is in place for the start of the school year.
