Investing in the Future of Rincon Valley Schools

  • At Rincon Valley Union School District (RVUSD), we are proud of our strong tradition of academic excellence. Our dedicated teachers and staff work every day to ensure students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for success in high school, college, and beyond.

    Measure G: Real Progress, Real Results

    Thanks to the support of Rincon Valley voters, Measure G, passed in March 2024, is already making a visible impact across our campuses.

  • This $66 million bond is funding critical school improvements — all at a cost of no more than $30 per $100,000 of a property’s assessed value per year.

  • Over the past two years, RVUSD worked closely with families, teachers, and community members to develop a 10-year Master Facilities Plan that prioritizes safety, modernization, and learning spaces that meet the needs of today’s students.

    • A brand-new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classroom, built with our youngest learners in mind

    • New parking lot to improve safety and traffic flow

    • A modernized TK/K playground, designed for safe, age-appropriate play

    • New hydration stations across school sites to support student health and reduce plastic waste
       

    What Measure G Will Continue to Support

    • Replacing aging roofs, heating/cooling systems, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure

    • Upgrading and expanding classrooms, including new STEM and science labs

    • Modern classroom technology that supports 21st-century learning

    • Additional TK classrooms with bathrooms

    • Improved space and resources for students with learning disabilities

    • Replacing temporary portables with safe, permanent classroom buildings
       

    Committed to Fiscal Responsibility

    Measure G includes strong accountability measures to ensure every dollar is spent as promised:

    • All funds stay local — none can be taken by the State

    • No money can be used for administrator salaries

    • A detailed project list is required and publicly available

    • Oversight by an Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee

    • Mandatory annual audits for financial and performance transparency
