Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!

Dear RVUSD Families,

Tomorrow, our schools will once again be filled with the sounds of students arriving, friends reconnecting, teachers welcoming their students, and new relationships beginning. There is something special about the first day of school, and we are excited to welcome our students and families to school tomorrow. 

Our staff have been working hard to prepare classrooms, campuses, and programs for the year ahead. Most importantly, they are ready to welcome your children and create learning environments where every student feels known, valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

As we begin this new school year, we are committed to our students: Connect. Engage. Learn. Grow.  We want every student to experience school as a place where they are connected to others, engaged in meaningful learning, and encouraged to discover what they are capable of.  We believe that when students feel connected, they are engaged.  When they are engaged, they learn.  When they learn, they grow.  

We know that a successful school year is built through strong partnerships between schools, students, and families. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for the many ways you support our schools. We look forward to working alongside you throughout the year.
