CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION

As of March 27, 2019, Rincon Valley Union School District would like to invite contractors that are interested in bidding district projects to participate in our Pre-Qualification process.

On August 9, 2016 Rincon Valley Union School District board members approved and authorized District staff to proceed with the implementation of the Contractors Pre-qualification Process pursuant to Public Contract Code section §20111.6 where school districts with an Average Daily Attendance (ADA) of 2,500 or more must prequalify general contractors, and mechanical , electrical and plumbing contractors for lease-leaseback projects and projects using funds received pursuant to the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 or any funds received, including funds reimbursed, from any future state school bond for a public project that involves a projected expenditure of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more.

The District will be reviewing and approving Prequalification application forms throughout the year. Contractors that are deemed “qualified” will remain in the “Qualified Contractors” list for a period of 12 months effective the date of approval. After the 12 months, the contractor must re-apply.
